Archery Club
We have a competitive archery club for those who would like to continue shooting archery after completing the Try Archery Lessons. Club is for both adults and children (ages 8+/3rd grade). The cost is $15/visit (or $20/visit if payment is not received prior to the start of the lesson) - see ESA/Homeschool for information on ESA invoice costs and billing.
Competitive Archery Clubs
We currently have about 45 active club members. Each month, we do a scoring round to earn PINS as an award for reaching a goal. We incorporate fun games into our routine like shooting at balloons, playing Robin Hood, etc.
This group is for archers (ages 13+) who are ready to pursue a higher level of performance. Archers have a commitment to learning more about our bodies and muscles, equipment and equipment maintenance, shooting execution, and the "mental game" (from Larry Wise's Planning to Peak in Archery). Level Up archers must compete in at least 7 specific tournaments per year, some of which are National Events.
As a club, we occasionally shoot field archery rounds. It is great fun to get out and walk a path to shoot at animal targets. A few of our archers even participate in NFAA events!
